Potts, Henshall and Newbies!

Sorry I've not been posting but there is news and you can find it here :)

[There are *SPOILERS* in this post so don't read on if you don't wanna know!]



FIRSTLY Andrew Lee Potts has said in an interview that "I suppose, in a way, I am the character to carry [Cutter's role in the team] on now, so there are definitely going to be more nods toward Connor becoming more like Cutter."

Douglas Henshall has revealed that he is "grateful" to Primeval -

"Before that I was in things that were on 10 o'clock on a Thursday night rather than Saturday primetime," he told TV Choice. "But it's been good for me and brought me to a much wider group of people. I'm very grateful because it's allowed me to do different things."

NOW, if your looking at that picture up there on the right hand side and wondering 'who the hell are they?', I'm pleased to tell you that they are the new Primeval cast! At the back you can see Abby, Connor and Becker and at the front are the Newbies who are called Matt and Jess.

Matt is played by Ciarán McMenamin and Jess is Ruth Kearney.

Back with a bang, and some news!

2010 eh? That means less than a year to new Primeval!

Sorry the first post of 2010 is coming so late! Been a busy year so far!


Primeval news? Well there's been quite a bit! Too much to show in just one post so I'll be posting links to all the pages with news right here :)

Firstly, word on the street is that series 4 will be set a year after series 3 which brings up so many possible plot twists and story lines it’s unimaginable!
Also I’ve heard that Andrew Lee Potts and Hannah Spearritt will be returning for the whole series while Jason Flemyng will only be returning for a handful of episodes.

Connor's looking a little rough in those pictures, wearing the same clothes he finished S3 in and growing a beard which I'm not so sure about. So I'm guessing that him and Abby have been stuck back in time for that whole year the series is set after.



AND IN OTHER NON-S4 RELATED NEWS… Primeval action figures have been reduced to £2.99 on the Character website so go grab some action figures while their hot!

The second poll of our 'mega-poll' has been closed!
I'm delighted to announce that the winning episode this round was the 'Mer Creatures' episode, or as I titled it - 'Connor loves Abby'.

That episode is seriously my favorite! I love it!

Anyway I'm really sorry but i sort of deleted the poll before I took down the results but I can tell you that the 'Mer Creature' episode won by a LANDSLIDE of about 20 votes

To make up for it... Here's Cutter lookin' pretty :)

The 'Save Primeval' Petition has now been closed. Only because the show has been confirmed to return in 2011.

Now a lot of people have been complaining that 2011 is TOO LONG to wait and that they can't cope with it but really it's not that far away.
When you think about it, we're in October now so there's only three months left til 2010 and then there's only about another year until we'll be able to watch the highly anticipated season 4!

15 months left to wait! (Or a year and three months, take your pick!)


Here's an article from The Star about the return of Primeval. Normally I'm opposed to even the thought of buying this paper but Primeval did bring a little good to this crappy paper.
